Top 5 Autumn/Winter Candles

There's nothing quite like coming home after a long day, and cosying up with a beautifully scented candle filling your home. I don't really use candles throughout the rest of the year, but something about Autumn + Winter brings out the candle collector in me! This seems quite a fitting one to start with as I write this on an Autumn Night! The candle itself is dark in colour contained in the Yankee Candle Trademark Jar, with a gorgeous picture on the front of two lanterns and a copper coloured tree against the dark nights sky. The scent from the candle is very earthy, with hints of lavender and woodland notes. It's perfect for when you get nearer to Christmas and want to get into the Festive Spirit! I love to use it while wrapping presents with Christmas songs on to really overload on the festivities! John Lewis Snow Scene Candle 

This candle is for purely decorative purposes, but it is absolutely stunning! It is made to look like a snow globe and I love the concept so much! Presented in a tumbler style glass is a clear candle that looks like beautifully bubbly water (or champers...it is nearly Christmas after all), at the bottom is a cute little scene of a Church in the snow. It is beautiful and will make a great decoration for any room. It is not scented, but I think the visuals make up for it! You can purchase this candle in 2 different sizes:

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie

Everyone loves the festive smell of Christmas, and everyone loves the delicious smell of baking. Put them together and you get this irresistible candle that will entice your tastebuds (just don't eat the candle..!) Lily-Flame Christmas Day Scented Candle Tin 

This candle is perfect (and very aptly named) for lighting on Christmas morning when opening your presents with family or when you have your Christmas dinner! It would also make a lovely gift for someone as it's beautifully presented in a red and gold Christmas tin! Inside is the candle which has four little red star like pieces that add an extra warmth to the scent! This candle is described as "creating a warm and delicious atmosphere to savour + enjoy" with a blend of White Cedar + Nutmeg! The candle is about a medium size, costs £9 and provides up to 35hrs of fragrance!
